2 (~5 oz.) cans of tuna in water (can also use crab)
1/4 C mayonnaise
3 Tbsp. sriracha
6 nori sheets
4 C prepared sushi rice
1 avocado, sliced 1/3" thick
Directions
Prepare rice according to package.
Peel and slice cucumber. Remove avocado from outer layer and slice.
Drain tuna (or crab) to remove excess water.
In a medium bowl, toss cucumber, vinegar, and salt.
In a seperate medium bowl mix tuna/crab, mayonnaise, and sriracha.
After rice is done. On a bamboo mat, lay 1 nori sheet. Using dampened hands, spread
2/3 C rice evenly across 80% of the nori, leaving an uncovered border at the end
furthest from you.
At the end nearest to you arrange 3 Tbsp. of tuna/crab all the way across.
Top tuna/crab with strips of cucumber and avocado.
Lift the bamboo mat from the end closest to you and use it to guide edge of rice inot a
tight spiral. Squeeze firmly along the mat to compact roll. Continue rolling in a spiral log to
seal the edge. Repeat steps 6-9 with remaining ingredients.
Let roll sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
Additional Info
If you do not have a bamboo mat parchment paper can make a good substitute.
Any fish can be used to substitute for the tuna also.
